Analytic History

I have recently finished a book that studies the history of constitutional decision making at the US Supreme Court. The book proposes a way of studying the development of law that attempts to use micro-theories of the judicial process to interpret macropatterns in law-making. The quantitative-historical approach brings together traditions from political science, economics, law, history, and sociology. The book has been published by Cambridge University Press.
